How To Book Joint Inspection For HDB BTO
For BTO owners who have collected your keys, congratulations!
Your next step in your home journey is to get a defects checker / do a defects check on your unit and submit it to BSC in the next 30 days.
After identifying the defects, you will then need to get the BSC officer to come down for the joint inspection.
1. What Is The Purpose Of Joint Inspection
Joint inspection with BSC is a very simple process.
The purpose of this trip is for BSC officer to ensure they understand all the defects identified, and to make sure they can be assigned to the different sub contractors.
For defects done by professional defects checking companies, this is a very smooth process, as all the defects identified are common and have been flagged before to BSC. As such, BSC is very familiar with the method we use to label the defects, so the joint inspection is a very smooth process.
2. What Happens During Joint Inspection
When the BSC officer comes down, it is a very simple process.
The whole process takes 10-15 minutes.
When officer arrives, let the officer know that the defects have been identified with the stickers, and pass him the filled up defect form we have filled up for you.
The officer will then take a look around the house and refer to the form for the major defects.
Once done, he will let you know all is good, and that the rectification will take 14 days for rectifications to be fixed.
3. Can I Still Access My House During 14 Days Rectification?
Yes you can!
Usually during the 14 days, you still have access to the unit.
Feel free to drop by the unit to check on the progress of the defect rectification, and whether it is up to your expectations.
